Elleanna (Elle) Patterson serves as a Project Engineer at JB&B. Since joining the engineering consulting industry in 2021, she has assisted in the HVAC design for a wide range of projects, including K-12 and higher education institutions, landmarked buildings, retail stores, commercial offices, and life science facilities.
Ms. Patterson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami. She has earned her EIT certification and Six Sigma Yellow Belt, as well as having completed ASHRAE’s basic HVAC system design course. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C. In 2023, she joined the ASHRAE Philadelphia Chapter as an associate member. In 2024, she joined the PWC Philadelphia Chapter.
Fun Fact: I co-designed a solar-powered glider bench for the University of Miami that features USB outlets and overhead lighting to enhance student comfort and productivity. Our system ran entirely on renewable energy, producing zero carbon emissions and no added electricity costs. Though the prototype was paused due to COVID-19, our approved design laid the groundwork for future campus sustainability upgrades
